elcome and thank you for your interest in Blue Oak School!

Blue Oak School seeks to admit students who mirror the myriad of backgrounds, talents and interests represented in the North Bay Area. It benefits all students to be part of a diverse learning community where hearts and minds can be opened to new perspectives and points of view. By educating children in an environment that embodies the richness and variety of our world, we give them the tools they need to be thoughtful and tolerant citizens.

Blue Oak School seeks children of families who share our philosophy of education and child development so that the child feels a consistency of values at home and at school. Such children will feel confident in taking risks and reaching out to others.  In partnership with our families, Blue Oak School strives to prepare our students for an increasingly inter-connected world.

All families interested in joining the Blue Oak community in the Fall of 2012 are encouraged to arrange a personal visit to experience first-hand the ways in which a Blue Oak education can make a difference in the life of each child.  For a more general overview, we invited you to experience Blue Oak School by attending one of our Information Sessions or Preview Programs.  Please check the admission calendar to find a date that will fit your family's schedule.  Information Sessions are for parents only.  Children may visit with their families for an individual visit or at one of our weekend or evening Preview Programs.  If you have questions or would like more information about the best time to visit, please do not hesitate to contact us at 707.261.4522 or .
