hen you read the reports, you are astonished by how well these teachers know your child. You learn things about your child that you could not possibly understand without the care, attention, and professionalism of these teachers.

y daughter really has transitioned well to Napa and has thrived in the large and diverse environment. She came well prepared from Blue Oak compared with kids coming out of the public middle schools. She is performing at the top of all her Academic and Honors classes.

hen the School began in 2002, I entered as a third grade student. At first I was nervous; I wondered who would be my friends? Would I like my teachers? But I was welcomed with open arms. In my six years at Blue Oak School, I came to value community as the most important aspect of the School. Everyone is taught to treat each other with kindness, respect and to allow for individual differences in a comfortable and open environment. I was encouraged and able to learn based on my individual needs, thanks to the small classes and amazing teachers. Now that I’ve graduated and am moving on to high school, I feel well prepared for the transition in academics and social skills.
I have received an outstanding education through the many opportunities and experiences that were unique to a Blue Oak School education. For this I am grateful; Blue Oak will always hold a special place in my heart.
