2010 Benefit Auction

"Foundation to Future", celebrates our Mission and our promise.

This year's Beneath the Canopy Fundraiser is shaping up to be one of the most fun and successful events in the history of Blue Oak School.  Over the last ten years, many people have worked hard to create a strong foundation upon which Blue Oak School has grown and flourished.  We have built a community of faculty, staff, students and parents, who work together to make our school what it is; an amazing place of support, curiousity and learning for our children.  It is this solid foundation that makes our future possible. 

It is in honor of our foundation and our future that we announce the theme of this year's Beneath the Canopy, Foundation to Future.  The event will be a celebration of our School, its Mission and the passion and dedication of the four founders; Barry and Tracy Schuler and David Goldman and Lisa Cort, who are this year's Honorary Auction Chairs.

We are happy to announce the location and time of this year's event will be Silver Oak Cellars on Saturday, May 1, 2010 beginning at 6:00p.m.  There will be a silent and live auction, fabulous wines and a seated dinner.

All proceeds from the Beneath the Canopy auction benefit Blue Oak School. The funds raised support many facets of the School, including an integrated liberal arts curriculum, hands-on learning opportunities and competitive salaries for experienced teachers.  Auction monies also support the School's committement to building a diverse student body by providing revenue for its need-based financial aid program, which currently provides almost 35% of Blue Oak School families with financial assistance.
