  • Bobcats Experience 2 Losses in Second to Last Week of Season

    In a tough loss to St. John's Napa last weekend, the 5th / 6th girls' basketball team's record is now 3-2 overall. The 5th / 6th boys' team lost to an undefeated St. A's team putting their season record at 4-3. The regular season for both teams will wrap up this weekend. Go Bobcats!

  • Bobcats Experience 2 Wins, 1 Loss

    The 5th/6th grade basketball teams each picked up wins against local Napa teams. The girls faced off against St. A's in Napa and won, improving their record to 3-1 for the season. The boys played two games, falling to St. Francis by two points on Saturday and defeating St. John's Napa by nine points on Monday. The boys are now 4-2 overall. Go Bobcats!

  • Bobcats Pick Up 3 Wins

    The 5th/6th basketball teams continued their successful seasons, picking up three wins in games on Saturday and Monday. The girls' team started off on Saturday by defeating St. Rose to improve their record to 2-0 in regular season play. The game was close throughout, but the girls pulled away in the fourth quarter for a comfortable win. The boys followed up with a solid 10-point win against St. Mary's from Ukiah. On Monday, the boys' team picked up another win against St. Helena Catholic to move their record to 2-1. Go Bobcats!

  • Bobcats Participate in Napa Invitational Tournament

    The 7th/8th grade boys' basketball team continued their season last weekend, participating in the 21st annual Napa Invitational Tournament. The Bobcats lost a tough first-round matchup with eventual champions St. John's Lutheran, but bounced back with a win on Saturday against St. Luke's from Santa Rosa. Blue Oak struggled to build an early lead to 28-21 at halftime, but came out strong to start the second half with 26 points in the third quarter. Every Blue Oak player scored in the game, which ended with a score of 69-45. The boys moved on to a consolation championship matchup against St. John's Catholic. The first half concluded with St. John's ahead 28-19, but the Bobcats won the third quarter 12-6, and pulled within one point late in the fourth quarter. St. John's finally pulled away on free throws to win 51-44.

    The 5th/6th girls' basketball team remains undefeated after two preseason and one regular season games! Last Saturday the girls got their regular season off to a great start by defeating St. Francis 15-13.
