The Parents and Families of Blue Oak School

Parents are an essential part of life at Blue Oak School.

Through their participation in School events and activities, parents help support the School’s mission to build a culture and community of learning, stewardship and understanding.  We invite and encourage all of our parents and families to play an active role in school life.  There are many ways to participate at the School.

The Parent Association offers wonderful opportunities to get acquainted with other parents while supporting the many activities that take place at the School each year.  Every Blue Oak School parent is a member of the Parent Association (PA) we encourage you to attend a PA meeting to find out more about how you can become involved.

Parents and families are also invited to join activities both in and out of school, including regular community meetings where students, faculty and families gather to sing, make presentations, discuss specific topics or practice for upcoming performances.  These meetings are a valuable way for the entire School community to share and connect.

Taking part in Lower School classroom activities, field trips, student athletics, the Lower School Breakaway program, the annual benefit auction and volunteering in the libraries are just some of the other ways parents and families can be involved at Blue Oak School.

We invite you to explore the Parent section of our website for more information on parent life at Blue Oak School.
