Resources Research Project
“Americans constitute 5% of
the world's population but consume 24% of the world's energy. On average, one
American consumes as much energy as 2 Japanese, 6 Mexicans, 13 Chinese, 31
Indians, 128 Bangladeshis, 307 Tanzanians, or 370 Ethiopians.”

Our reliance on imported fossil fuels has had significant consequences on our environment, our economy and personal health. The purpose of doing this project is to become more familiar with energy conservation and the variety of alternative energy resources available for generating electricity, transportation, heating and cooking. You and your partner will become experts on one of the energy resources and present your findings to the class.
Your presentation should include
· Current information and statistics on the availability of the resource
· Current level of use and projected level of use
· The advantages and disadvantages of using the resource
· Recent research and technological advancements
To present your information you may produce one of the
